British Gov't Security Contracts

After leaving the British Army I worked for a time in the 50's for the 'Ministry of Defence', on Gov't security contracts, moving between different sections for short periods and working mainly on either computer systems (Rank Cintel, Imhoff, Muirehead), and development of Guided Missile control systems for the Blue Streak and Bloodhound, the high altitude research rockets, Blue Water and Skylark (at Elliott Bros, Plessey, EMI Electronics and Fairy Aviation). Including a few weeks working on ASDIC underwater detection equipment at Graseby Istruments Ltd.

Relaxing during a break outside 'Fairy Aviation', Feltham, Middlesex.
